OpenStudy (ashking1):

hey srry i tried but i dont understand ur question where did u get this question from

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i understand.. its a problem my teacher gave us but i asked other friends and they just don't know how to do it. Basically i think you fold up the "net" and it becomes a figure but im just not sure..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if u have any other questions though, u can ask em, ill answer :)

OpenStudy (ashking1):

i even looked up the question online somebody posted it but nobody answered

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i know.. thats the problem. XD

OpenStudy (ashking1):

what math are u taking

OpenStudy (anonymous):

geometry. its a retake course.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hate geometry but love algebra.

OpenStudy (ashking1):

good at least algebra is good for u can u help me with this problem Mia is a sales associate at an art gallery. Each week she earns $300 plus a 4% commission of all her sales. This week she earned $327. How much, in dollars, were Mia's art sales this week? (Do not put a $ in your answer.)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

curious.. where are your problems coming from.. im feeling ur on flvs as well?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

working on it..

OpenStudy (ashking1):

yes ur right flvs is a pain

OpenStudy (anonymous):

300x.4=?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ur on it too!. awesome.. yea.. i hate when people post the question but don't answer.. could u post the answers?

OpenStudy (ashking1):

ok

OpenStudy (ashking1):

srry this is a fill in the blank one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ok. gime a sec.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this problem is making me feel stupid.. because the way its worded i think the answer is 27 dollars... being her base salary is 300 so 327-300=27.. that would be her art sales.. i think its 27.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what are u taking?

OpenStudy (ashking1):

algebra but i know a little geometry

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh..hmm do u know surface area?

OpenStudy (ashking1):

alittle why

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

not sure how to find it for this one since there is a slant.. its not a full rectangle..

OpenStudy (ashking1):

why is one slant 5 and the other 6 that makes no cense

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no 6 is the top edge..

OpenStudy (ashking1):

oh that was stupid of me the 5 is the slant and 6 is on top

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

here are the answers if u have any idea.. What will be the total painted surface area of the block? 360 cm2 408 cm2 333 cm2 453 cm2

OpenStudy (ashking1):

i have added it up and i think it is 453 cm2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

:). tnx a lot

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if u have more questions.. we can just continue in this thread..

OpenStudy (ashking1):

ok

OpenStudy (ashking1):

For a science experiment Corrine is adding hydrochloric acid to distilled water. The relationship between the amount of hydrochloric acid, x, and the amount of distilled water, y, is graphed below. Which inequality best represents this graph?

OpenStudy (ashking1):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but yea can u post the mult choice answers?

OpenStudy (ashking1):

3y - 2x < 0 3y - 2x > 0 2y - 3x < 0 2y - 3x > 0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok its 2y-3x...but im not sure if or why it would be greater or less than zero.. but its 2y-3x..

OpenStudy (ashking1):

thks
