we still believe in newton because he made laws of physics.
Laws are meant to be forever. . . there no such thing if we use quantum more these days so we have stopped using Newtonian mechanics or we do not believe in newton.

QM describes thing that are very small. If you take the limit of QM you get Newtonian mechanics. Newtons laws are not incorrect. They just do not accurately model matter on a very small scale or when matter is traveling at very high speeds relative to your reference frame

there is no best. both are best in there own fields. quantum mechanics for sub atomic particles and newtonian mechanics for macro bodies. afterall scientist still uses newtonian mechanics for launcing rockets
