you can also go to the profile of the person you want to fan...there's a button there that says "Become a Fan"...for example... http://openstudy.com/users/lgbasallote# you will see there three buttons "send message:, "block user" and "become a fan" try clicking the third button and see the magic that happens ;)

click on image and then it will come block user,send message and become a fan click on it.if it not comes reload restart or open site again
