greetings, im doing this question on static equilibrim of a ladder and i have no idea how to do it, can someone please give me some idea and some tricks on how to approach it, also for a steel beem and cable..

It is supported at the other end, and kept in a horizontal position, by a wire, which makes an angle θ with the horizontal. A mass m is suspended from the beam at a distance x from the hinge. (a) Draw a free body diagram, identifying all the forces on the beam. (b) Find an expression for the tension T in the wire as a function of x in terms of the symbols shown on the figure.
