If two cylinders are similar, then the square of their scale factor = the ratio of their lateral areas. 8/20 = 2/5 is the scale factor (2/5) ^2 = 126/x where x is the lateral area of the larger cylinder. 4/25 = 126 /x 4x = 25*126 x= 1575/2 x = 787.5 square meters
