idk why the question says isolation of x because isolation if i'm correct just means seperating them, not solving for x. If they mean solving for x, then you'll get x=f(y) in this case, since you've solved for x, you can now substitute this f(y) into the x variable of the first equation

so all you need to do is solve for x and whatever is your f(y) will be the expression
