the points (-1, 2) and (4, y) have a slope of -4/5. What is the coordinate of the point (4, y)

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

@nenadmatematika , Hey man! Long time no C! how you've been?

OpenStudy (nenadmatematika):

formula for slope is (y2-y1)/(x2-x1) so...(y-2)/5=-4/5 and you get? do you know what?

OpenStudy (nenadmatematika):

OK, I won't bother you it's -2...but it would be nice for you to understand this stuff...:D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry, I was working on another problem and just got back to this. Thanks for you help. I understand it better.

OpenStudy (nenadmatematika):

you're welcome :D
