What is the equation of a line that passes through (5, 3) and (-5, 3)?

First find the slope, remember the slope is "rise over run", or \[(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)\] Once you know the slope, plug it into the point slope formula and solve for y. The point slope formula is: \[y-y_1=m(x-x_1)\] Where "m" is the slope, and y1 and x1 are the coordinates of a point on the line.
