Based on the conditions of early Earth, what conclusion can you draw about the amount of anaerobic respiration that was occurring at Earth’s beginning?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Anaerobic respiration occurs in the absence of oxygen (the prefix an- meaning without; aerobe meaning oxygen). The more oxygen there is, the less anaerobic respiration that occurs (oxygen is actually toxic to the processes of anaerobic respiration). So - you would need to figure out / research how much oxygen was in the Earth's early atmosphere, and then you should have your answer!
