The road connecting Tim and Brenda’s houses is bisected by the road connecting Joe and Kathy’s houses, as shown below. What is the length of the road between Joe and Brenda’s houses?

since the height of the triangle is 30 and the base is the distance from Brenda to Joe's house, we can find that distance since we know the area of that triangle... 1200 sqft.... so 1200 = (1/2)(base)(height) 1200 = (1/2)*base*30 1200 = 15 * base can you take it from here?
