Solve the combined inequality and select the answer that best describes the graph of the solution. 4x + 6 > 2 and 8x – 6 < 26 Open dot at -1, closed dot at 4, and shaded between the numbers Closed dot at -1 and 5, shaded between the numbers Closed dot at 1, open dot at 5, and shaded between the numbers None of the above

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4x+6>2 Subtract both sides by 6 4x>-4 Divide both sides by 4 x>-1 8x-6<26 Add both sides by 6 8x<32 Divide both sides by 8 and we get x<4 I'm pretty sure it's none of the above. The only way the line would have a closed dot is if the inequality sign was greater than or equal to/lesser than or equal to. In this case it would all have to be open dots so it's none of the above.
