1. Factor out common terms 2. Find factors that their numbers add up toB term and their product = C term (Ax^2 +Bx+C) 3. Set each factor equal to 0 and solve. ex. 2x^2-4x-16 = 2(x^2-2x-8) 2(x^2-2x-8)=2(x-4)(x+2) .... -4+2 = 2 = B term -4*2=-8 = C term. x=4 or x=-2

I explained how to get the answer, but if you want to know a shortcut, since you have multiple choice, you could just multiply them all out and whichever one equals the original equation is the right answer.....its against the rules for me to just tell you the answer.
