How do i do this? I have formulas for others, but im not sure about this one... find the missing sides in this 30°-60°-90° right triangle. (Angle) --> https://media.glynlyon.com/a_matgeo_2011/5/306090.gif Hypotenuse = 10 Long = ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because this is a 30-60-90 triangle, the long side will be sqrt3 times the shortest side... the shortest side is half the hypotenuse... so Long = 5*sqrt3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh okay i get it, i had my notes as long = short * sqrt 3 but i wasnt sure how to go from there..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the hypotenuse is always one of the side numbers with the squareroot of three after it since its 30 60 90 triangle

okay thank you guys a bunch! this really helped!
