Evaluate Q-P (pic in comments)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

subtract them the way you would subtract numbers...e.g. the first row of the answer would be: 2 -10

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you have to subtract the corresponding entries in each matrix. for example, the first entry in the new matrix would be 6-8 which is -2.

@globalize, I think you might have misread. it's Q-P, not P-Q

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohhh you are right @harmonee, my bad

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can someone just answer the whole thing. But with explanation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

your answer should be \[\left[\begin{matrix}-2 & 10 \\ -19& 6\ \\ 9 & 9\end{matrix}\right]\] and the way to get this answer is by what we mentioned above, subtracting the corresponding entries in each matrix. so for example, 6-8 = -2 so that's your first row,first column entry entry, 8-(-2) is 10 so that's your first row,second column entry, etc.

So is that the whole answer ^^^^^^^^^

yupp!
