Could someone please help me with mulitiplying and simplifying .. ... the question is.....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well you see, we'll start by assigning one number "A" and one number "B" a=b now we multiply both sides by a a^2=b*a subtract b^2 from both sides a^2-b^2=b*a-b^2 apply the distributive law (a+b)(a-b)=b(a-b) divide both sides by a-b a+b=b substitute all a's for b's (remember a=b) a+a=a group the left side 2a=a divide both sides by a 2=1 2 is to 1 as i am to god... there-fore i am god jk, whats the question?

\[\sqrt{81}+\sqrt{144}\] Using distributive law root 81 is 9 root 144 is 12 12+9=21 your answer is 21 ;D
