cos (-x)= -cos(x) true or false?

OpenStudy (fwizbang):

cos(0) =1, so, since 0 = -0 , this can't be true. It's false.

cos(-x)=cos(x) because cosine is an even function sin(-x)=-sin(x) because sine is an odd function
