I would say yes because a function is when for every x value you have 1 y value (every input has a unique output). You can use the vertical line test if you have a graph. If your vertical line goes through only 1 point on the curve, then it is a function.

that is just a set of numbers... a function contains two sets of numbers... domain and range.... i'd say no...

Good point, when I looked at the set of numbers I thought of a cs class I had where the order in the set was the domain and the value that was held at that place was like the range. I got that confused, sorry about that.

Ah, that is interesting v. But Dpainc is correct, it's a set, but not a function.
