Simplify: the product of 24 x to the fourth y squared all over the product of 6 x y to the fifth

terenzreignz (terenzreignz):

(24 x^4 y^2) / (6 x y^5) 24 cancels out 6, dividing them both by 6, leaving 4 in the numerator x^4 cancels out x, dividing them both by x, leaving x^3 in the numerator y^5 cancels out y^2, dividing them both by y^2, leaving y^3 in the denominator =(4 x^3)/y^3
