A line that passes through the origin and is parallel to x + y = 6.

OpenStudy (jackellyn):

For two lines to be parallel they need to have the same slope. To find the slope, solve for y to put the equation in y =mx + b. The y intercept, b, will be 0 because it is passing through the origin. Can you put the equation in y = mx+b form?
