I've finally come in close contact with something where I'm not entirely sure if I should hit the "report abuse" button.

Suppose we see someone copy/pasting a response (not question) from some website without referencing it at all. I feel like I should be pressing the report button, but I wanted to make sure before I did that in this case.

I think you should. Just like in music group we should not plagiarize which is of course, using someone else's works without giving credit. Also, they probably shouldn't be copying and pasting from other websites for math. (In most cases)

I thought so as well. This situation was also slightly different in that the copy/pasted text contained some opinions as well, which I think make it worse.

I treat it as plagiarism and moderate for it accordingly.

Agreed with @farmdawgnation and everyone else who commented. Plagiarism is not acceptable in an academic setting (it's the same as cheating) - thus we do not allow it here on OpenStudy. Please report these kinds of issues and they will be dealt with accordingly.
