Since the angle of either of the two gray areas is 60 degrees (180-120 = 60), the gray areas placed side by side equal 120 degrees, or 1/3 of the whole 360 degrees. In otherwords, it's 1/3 of the circle's area. Solve for the circle's area with a radius of 4 and then divide by 3.
