in MIT 8.01 CLASSICAL MECHANICS UNDER MOTION OF PROJECTILES LECTURE VIDEO ..THE PROF. TOLD THAT THE PERCENTAGE ERROR OF THE HEIGHT THE BULLET REACHED IS 5% ....HE SHOT THE BULLET AT A 3 METRE HIGH SCALE AND APPROXIMATELY MEASURED IT TO BE 3.07+-0.15 m 5% error...pls help me how he did this.....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is a problem? 0.15 is ~5% of 3.07. the percentage error = the uncertainty. and measurement is meaningless without knowing the uncertainty, as you know)
