BIOS( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BIOS ) is a type of firmware ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Firmware ) DRIVER ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Device_driver ) is an interface between hardware and application programmes or hardware and OS. BIOS is built into ROM whereas DRIVER is software .
