OpenStudy (anonymous):

At Dale's auto shop, it takes 15 minutes to do an oil change and 7 minutes to do a tire change. Dale has less than 2.5 hours (150 minutes) left to work before he has to leave for the day. Write an inequality that gives the number of oil changes, x , and the number of tire changes, y , that he can do before he leaves.

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

\[150 \text{ m}>x\times15\text{m} \] \[150 \text{ m}>y\times 7\text {m}\]

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

now the first equation for x and the second equation for y
