Classify the following animal: Traits: - terrestrial - needs watery environment for reproduction A. Mammalia B. Reptilia C. Aves D. Amphibia

Off the top of my head: Mammals = humans, apes, dolphins, etc. You should definitely know what reptiles are. Aves = birds Amphibia = frogs, toads, etc. Better way to view this question without overthinking it: Which of these groups of animals is MOST LIKELY to lay eggs in the water? I can come up with examples for each and everyone of these choices that need a watery environment and spends most of it's time living on land. This is one of those classical: "choose the best choice" things that you see on standardized exams.

Example for each, just for fun and to prove my point: A. Dophin B. Coral snake C. Penguin D. Bullfrog This is why you can't overthink it on these questions. Amphibians are the MOST directly dependent on water for reproduction and that spend lots of time (in the adult phase) on the land.

(for the record, this is a bad question, IMHO)
