Write the equation of the line that is perpendicular to the line y = 3/2x + 4 and passes through the point (−6, 3).

OpenStudy (shubhamsrg):

let eqn be y=mx+ c ,,where m is the slope(ofcorse) now since its perpendicular to a line with slope 3/2,,we have 3/2 * m = -1 solve for m from here now you dont c only its given that for x=-6,,y =3 make that substitution and solve for c. then you should have your eqn..was that clear mam?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I understand but then again I don't understand what your saying . Can you be clear ?

OpenStudy (shubhamsrg):

what value did you get for m ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Nevermind, I have it .
