Let c be any constant number. Which of the following will always be perpendicular to -3x + y = -1?

OpenStudy (paxpolaris):

\[\Large x+3x=c\]

OpenStudy (paxpolaris):

if you have a line: \(\Large y=mx+b\) a line perpendicular to it will have slope \(\Large -1/m\) so, the equation would be:\[\Large y = -\frac1m x +c_2\]... where \(\large c_2\) is any constant number
