Am I correct? Which of the following is a situation where finding the surface area would be appropriate? Determining how much stucco is needed to stucco the walls and roof of a building. Determining how much paint is needed to entirely paint a pyramid-shaped ornament. Determining how much water is needed to fill a rectangular tank. Determining how much paint is needed to paint the walls of your bedroom.
Determining how much paint is needed to entirely paint a pyramid-shaped ornament. <--- what i think the answer is
@jim_thompson5910 i only have one more after this... but the next one i am just confused and dont have an answer
only one answer choice is allowed right?
yes
well your answer choice is perfectly valid because that's exactly what surface area addresses....but...."Determining how much paint is needed to paint the walls of your bedroom." is also valid
since it's the same idea, just now applied to your walls
so if you had to go with something most connected to you, I'd go with painting the room walls since that has closer ties and is more applicable
but i thought the walls one was wrong because you dont paint the floor or roof... unlike the ornament which you would paint the whole outside.
oh i see, I'm thinking lateral surface area lol
you're 100% correct then
ok thanks :) i just have one more.. but its confusing me.
alright go for it
