Matrix problem, image is attached

OpenStudy (nenadmatematika):

the answer is 39,do you understand why?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I have no idea :/

OpenStudy (nenadmatematika):

when you multiply matrices, first you multiply first row of the first matrix with first column, then second column, then third column...and you get elements of the resulting matrix written in the first row....when you're done with columns, then you multiply the second row of the first matrix with first, second, third column of the other matrix etc....

OpenStudy (nenadmatematika):

5*3+3*8 gives 39

Thanks a bunch

OpenStudy (nenadmatematika):
