f the length of the beams is doubled on each side, which statement is correct about the maximum area available for an exhibit to be displayed? It becomes six times the original area. It becomes double the original area. It becomes four times the original area. It becomes eight times the original area.
*if how ?
thanks !
Sorry, I actually read the question wrong. Well, if you double one measurement of a rectangle, the area doubles. So for example, if the original measurements are 3 x 2 x 4 you have an area of 24. If we chose to double the 4, the area will increase to 48. You could try it with any of the other three numbers and get the same thing :)
oooh ok so the answer is still rite ?
It will become double the area. (I thought the question was asking you to double two things haha!) B
ook thanks for ur correction : )
