Which of the following characteristics would best describe the difference between an onion root tip and frog embryonic cells in the appearance of the cells on a microscope slide? a.The length of the microtubules in the centriole b.the number of phases in mitosis c.the way the chromosomes act during mitosis d.the presence of a cell wall, and consequent linear order, in the onion

The answer is D. Plant cells only have the cell wall which gives the cells a box shape and protection of the cell membrane and cytoplast. And the linear order as well. In animal cells there is no cell wall and more spherical shape also not in an even line. Like vegetable cells vs. cheek cells.
