Indicate whether the following is an example of weather or climate: The relative humidity is currently 79%. A.Weather B.Climate

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A. Weather is a qualitative observation. Meaning on a desrciption of a quality rather than an accurate measure of detail, value or number. To make this a quantitative (vice versa of qualit.) you say ' In this area the humidity is an average of 79%'

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Climate is the quantitative obs. Weather = it is sunny today Climate: It is sunny, warm and dry during summers, cold and humid during winters.

I think it would be A.weather, here's why. Weather is the short term weather conditions of an area "The relative humidity is currently 79%." is referring to short term weather conditions, as it says "currently", if it said that "the average humidity of some state is 79%" it would be climate as the climate is the long term weather patterns of an area. Now I could be wrong on this assumption and I have just messed your head up, but what I have learned says that my assumption is right.
