c^2 = 10^2 + 7^2 = 149 (Pythagoras theorem) c = sqrt149
Since it's a right triangle you can simple use the Pythagorean Theorem:\[a^2+b^2=c^2\]\[7^2+10^2=c^2\]\[c=\sqrt{7^2+10^2}\]
