find the slope of the line using the two plotted points in the graph? (-6,5),(9,-5) what do I need to do first?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[m=(y^2-y^1)/(x^2-x^1)\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

meaning (-6^2-5^2)/(9^2- -5^2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No it would be |dw:1340236285338:dw| because the \[^2 and ^1 \] is just showing which part of the (x,y) it is and since there is 2 (x,y) then it would be the second y which is -5 minus the first y which is 5. The second x which is 9 minus the first x which is 6. Do you get it now?
