So I'm still getting that nasty aw snap thingy. It has not been as much as it used to. I have gotten it twice now. Maybe chrome can't handle the equation thingy. It seems to break sometimes when using the equation editor.
Oh and I know this is not an OpenStudy issue, but I didn't know if I should still say something about it or not.
Definitely good to know that it's still happening - by chance did you happen to report it to Chrome? The more we bring it to their attention, the more likely that a solution will be found :) Thanks again Myin!
No. Where exactly do you go to report it to Chrome?
So, you see that little wrench in the upper right hand corner of Chrome? Click that, then go to 'About Chrome' - there you should see a 'Report an Issue' button :)
I'm not seeing it :( . I see the wrench and I see 'About Google Chrome' I do not see the 'report an issue' botton.
Just use Firefox.
safari also has its variation of a browser crash...but im guessing it's either coz it's safari for windows...or i have a crappy desktop/internet im just saying in case someone also has that problem then we'll know it's not the browser..idk..im just an ignorant computer engineer lol
Oh @cshalvey I found it! I have to go to help and follow some more links to report the issue.
Thanks :)
Oh - sorry! For me at least, once I click 'About Chrome' the window that opens up (or tab in my case) has a 'Report Issue' button. Thanks for letting everyone else know! Also, @lgbasallote - thanks for mentioning that, I'll be sure to see if there's an issue we're aware of there... Could you describe the crash you're experiencing?
For future reference, the best way to report crashes like this is by using chrome://crashes -- paste that into your address bar and turn on crash reporting. Then the next time it crashes go back to that page and file a bug on the crash - then you're golden.
^ Nice - didn't know that one myself there @farmdawgnation - cheers!
Thanks duckzilla.
