have you guys ever thought about putting thumbs up buttons on people's profiles. I think it would be a good way to show your appreciation to people who help you solve a problem. @the openstudy team

OpenStudy (kinggeorge):

I think this is something that both medals and fans are supposed to address together. By giving someone a medal you are saying that they had the "best answer." This usually means that they were helpful in solving the problem. As for the fans, these are the people that you appreciate more than most other users.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how do you add a medal because I haven't figured out how

OpenStudy (kinggeorge):

You click the "Best Answer" button next to some response.

That gives a medal it thought it made them like the "the best answerer" or something Thanks

OpenStudy (blues):

KingGeorge is right. And you can do one better than give a thumbs up on someone's profile by becoming their fan and then writing them a fan testimonial. The testimonials are visible to all people looking at a user's profile. I use myself as an example: http://openstudy.com/users/blues#/users/blues/testimonials

Okay my concern has been rectified Thanks

You're welcome.
