oh shoot, i havn't done that in ages ;D i'll see if i can remember though: first take you equation: y=mx+b now plug in and solve for "B" 6=7(8)+b 6=56+b b=-50 now just plug "B" back into your original equation: y=7x-50 i think thats how it was done... i havnt done this in ages lol, you may want to check with someone else for clarification, but it gives you a starting point

Just a quick double check, m=7, (8,6) slope Eqn. of line, y = mx+c Substitute m=7 and the point (8,6) 6= (7) 8 + c 6= 56 +c c= -50 Eqn of line, y = 7x -50
