to live and to die

OpenStudy (anonymous):

to live and die: If , to die is to cease to exist and to live is to stay alive.... i doubt if my dictionary is most accurate?! If, to stay alive , is nothing but mere existence... what does it mean to live..... why not create a 21st century definition? what does the word to you??

To live is to be in awe of every day. Even the bad days, to see beauty in everything.

To live means running in a race of our century. The moment you take your first breath into this world, you're thrown into nothing but chaos. To die means either you fell whilst running and lost the strength to rise again or you achieved what you had desired, reached the finish line but collapsed as your body couldn't take anymore of the tedious lifestyle you had gone through all your life. You didn't have the energy left to even walk a few steps and receive your reward.
