Plot the x-intercept (-10, 0).

Plot the y-intercept (0, -2).

Draw a line through the two points.

Count down 1 and right 5 from the y-intercept.

so there is no need to compute x-intercept

ahh i see..yes yes,,rightly said..but still..if she finds out x intercept with taking notice of the slope..and proceeds as given in the algorithm,,she does nothing wrong,.,till the 4th step i guess..
