The area of a given hexagon is equal to the area of an equilateral triangle whose perimeter is 36 inches. Find the length of a side of the regular hexagon.

but my answer is suppost to be with a square root...
oh my mistake..thought it was six triangles..let me see again..
it is sqrt(24)...equate the area of the triangle given with the six equilateral triangles that make up the hexagon
