,Using trapezoid VWYZ, solve for x.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3 4 8 9

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got 3?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

since this figure is isosceles, base angles are equal so: \[\large 7x-13=2x+17 \] \[\large 7x-13-2x=2x+17-2x \] \[\large 5x-13+13=17+13 \] \[\large 5x=30 \] \[\large x=6 \] hmm... looks like it's not listed.... :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well then ill just go with 3 thanks though your the most helpful

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok..:) sorry...
