can someone help me understand a problem please?

x=64/6 =10 2/3 idk how they got this answer but its right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes this is right. 64/6 basically means 64 divided by 6. 6 goes into 64 ten times (hence the 10 in the answer), which 4 left over. So at this point you have 10 4/6. 4/6 can be simplified by dividing both the numerator and denominator by 2, which gives you a final answer of 10 2/3.
