Which produces more carbon dioxide? cars homes cars and homes produce that same amount of carbon dioxide it depends on the car and the home
it depends on the car and home.. right ?
i actually have no clue on this one
ok.. 1) electric cars dont produce carbon wastes at all.. while all other engines produce carbon.... 2) in homes if you dont burn wood for cooking, you are not emitting any carbon mostly.. so it actually depends on the type of car, and type of home.. got it ?
but mostly of this situation.cars has the most carbon dioxide produce than a house using an electric stove.coz most of the cars using oil.
@cornitodisc But not at all if the house is being powered off of a coal-power electric grid... All you doing is shifting where the CO\(_2\) is being produced, at home or at the smoke stack. This is VERY situation dependent, I would agree with the last choice.
This is the same flawed logic that has people buying into the oxymoronic-named political campaign called "Clean Coal". Just because you're using electric equipment doesn't mean you're not producing CO\(_2\) somewhere else to power it, agreed? Tip: "It depends" types of answers when it comes to subjective science questions are typically correct, not always but I would read it first to see if it makes sense. In this chart, the big drop in Europe's CO\(_2\) production was due to both tighter minimum mandates for industry processes and consumer products and the construction of new nuclear or wind power plants: http://photos.mongabay.com/09/forecast_co2.jpg
