The indian students out there.. Could you all please just suggest some of the reference books (PCM) for class XI ??
purpose? non routine or for school or high level?
Both school and high level .. .. I guess .. :P
ISC text books r really hard, nd for other books, there is SL looney, prilipko and well for the best theory in world, there is pre collage mathematics
hmmn,,NCERT is the best in the business.. all reference books seem non-sense in front of NCERT..trust me..if you understand NCERT well..future is supposedly bright.
i wont say non-sense..its childish! :P
NCERT books are real good. you can download them free at ncert website : http://ncert.nic.in/ncerts/textbook/textbook.htm
I am from a CBSE school .. So i already do have the NCERT books.. you knw.. I'm not able to decide which one would be the best reference book..!!
i dont recommend any reference book. im in love wid ncert text books :)

There are other publications as well. Try out Pradeep's and BMA for extra practice.
BMA -> Brain Mapping Academy. Ideal for IIT aspirants.
Teachers suggest HC verma for phy.. Some say use things like rd sharma/ rl arora for maths ... and some do pradeep .. so i'm confused like hell!
if u want to do anything really promising in d field of maths, then trust me, nd buy pre collage, its an awesome book for theories
Ooh!! :))
what a great recourse @ganeshie8 thanks!
The best physics textbook i have ever seen is "University Physics with Modern physics, 12th edition" by HUGH D. YOUNG and ROGER A. FREEDMAN P.S. I am from Nepal.
Thanks ujjwal .. and.. it doesnt really matter where you belong.. i guess we'd have a similar pattern in both ind and nepal!! ..
