Let f(x)=3x-6 and g(x)=x-2. Find f/g an state it's domain.

OpenStudy (jackellyn):

3x-6 / x-2 We can factor a three out of the numerator 3(x-2)/(x-2) the (x-2) cancel so the answer is 3 Looking at the denominator, we can see that \[x \neq 2\] and that is the restriction. \[[{x| x \neq 2]}\]
