Deepanshu who lives in my neighborhood travels to Chinsura everyday for his work. His wife drives him to Howrah station every morning and evening exactly at 6 pm. She picks him from the station and takes him home. One day, he was let off from work an hour earlier. So, he arrived at Howrah station at 5 pm instead of 6 pm. He started walking home. However, he met his wife enroute to the station and got into the car. They drove home arriving home 10 min earlier than usual. How long did the man have to walk, before he was picked up by his wife?
A. 45 B. 55
C. 50 D. 40

I'm not sure how to do it...it doesn't tell you anything about distance or travel time for either the walker or the driver!

Is it 50? because 10 minutes of driving home earlier is 50 minutes of walking?

nah sir answer is 55, nd the guy was normally picked from the station at 6, so as shane says, we have no idea

how did you get 55? The distance of 10 mins driving is equal to 55 mins of walking?

on that day d guy started walking at 5 nd was picked by his wife on way , again we dont know where, nd reached his house 10 minutes earlier
