regeneration in plants, give examples.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Many plants have totipotent cells (can change into any other type of cell needed to repair tissue damage). As far as a common example... How about pruning? http://www.extension.umn.edu/distribution/horticulture/dg0628.html ^ This wouldn't be possible with out regeneration. You can't prune people to make them healthier... (and if you do that's called cruel & unusual)

thank you:)
