Is there a meticulous way to prepare for 5th grade physics?

OpenStudy (shane_b):

Get the book ahead of time...that will probably be the most help.

OpenStudy (kainui):

You could try by making sure you know algebra and try to find out what all the units are I suppose. Read about Isaac Newton, he's pretty important and interesting; he invented Calculus which is a pretty cool type of math. You use infinity and divide by 0!

OpenStudy (shane_b):

That's also a good point. Knowing your algebra will definitely help. I doubt you'll be doing any calculus-based physics in the 5th grade though.

OpenStudy (kainui):

No, but I still think Newton is a clever dude.

OpenStudy (shane_b):

No doubt...I wish I had him sitting next to me through my calculus and physics courses.
