will u tell me numberwise which are Same-side interior angles?
OpenStudy (maheshmeghwal9):
what r the no. for them?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
angle 6 and angle 3.

lol :)
can you help me??
OpenStudy (maheshmeghwal9):
lol; Do u know that angle 4= angle 6
due to alternate angles property ?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
oh yeah! they do dont they!
OpenStudy (maheshmeghwal9):
Alternates angles are like this|dw:1340391955829:dw|
OpenStudy (anonymous):
right...

So in this case they are first one
now do u know
angle 4 + angle 3 =180 degrees
due to property of angles on a straight line ?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
yeah i knew that!
OpenStudy (maheshmeghwal9):
so u have now 2 equations: -
1.) angle 4 = angle 6
2.) angle 4 + angle 3 =180
Put angle 6 instead of angle 4 in 2nd equation becoz they are equal
So what do u get?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
180 since angle 4 equals angle 6, right?
OpenStudy (maheshmeghwal9):
ya so
angle 6 + angle 3 =180
therefore they are supplementary.
