Hi, I am listening to the videos and reading the Python reference books, but can not download the robot software. Could you tell me how to do it if it is for free.

to run the virtual robot I do: - Run the Python shell (Python 2.6.6) - File -> Open -> Select: C:\Program Files\Python26\Lib\site-packages\soar\runsoar.py - A new window (runsoar.py) is opended. Run - Run module - A new window (soar3-500) is opened. - Press simalator and select C:\Program Files\Python26\Lib\site-packages\soar\worlds\tutorial.py - The robot simulator is here

oh, sorry. i thought we had no access to the simulator. but now i find the soar in the 6.01 software. if you have install the 6.01 software, you may found it as jordibs told you. Or you can find the soar directory in /usr/local/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/soar if you are using Ubuntu. if you have not install the 6.01 software, go http://ocw.mit.edu/courses/electrical-engineering-and-computer-science/6-01sc-introduction-to-electrical-engineering-and-computer-science-i-spring-2011/software-and-tools/ and get one. then you have the the robot software.
